first time ever aboard in motorhome best route

Hi we are very new to motorhoming and our very first trip abroad is on the 11th July for 2 weeks, we are going to a wedding in Geisenheim, Germany were we have a camp site booked for 4 days, 14th to 18th  but does anyone no of any nice sites from calais down to Geisenheim then back up via Berlin.
