Travelling to the Netherlands

Please can anyone give me advice we are going to take our first trip abroad with our caravan.However its a twin axle and we dont have a mover fitted.Our worry is that we may struggle to manoeuvre our caravan as i believe the pitches are smaller than
we are used to in the uk.Also can anyone tell me do they parked across a pitch?

Any help with good sites would be most welcome,we are going for three weeks.Travelling from Newcastle with DFDS.
