Route and StopOver

We are staying in Vendee, travelling from Dieppe, the obvious route is the heavily tolled route through Le Mans, but whilist researching sites, travelling along the nothern coast line (ish) before heading down to Rennes and then Nantes, showing a vast reduction
in toll prices but showing as a lot motorway still. Can anyone advise on this route?

Also we will be arriving in Dieppe around 10.30pm, I would like to get another 60-100miles under my belt before finding somewhere to rest tilll the morning. I understand Aires are only for Motorhomes, Are they any suitable Service Stations along the toll
roads?
