Seen at Chester campsite a few years back. I bet he had to pump the tyres up a bit for this.
Never say never and all that but I am sad to say this will be my final ‘Post It’ story on the Caravan Club forum. I wanted to write to tell those that have followed my past 107 stories, from 2013 – 2016, of our travels that we are fine and well but this will be the last one. Unfortunately it was not a trip away in our…
On the spur of the moment with a break in the weather we contacted Eaton Hall Farm. They couldn't have been more helpful and we arranged a few days break. What a lovely little site with excellent facilities in the Cheshire countryside ,peaceful but close enough to all amenities.Would definitely recommend this CL to anyone. We…
Having just returned from a week at the glorious Chatsworth site with my husband, I have to say that I feel so sorry for the wardens who have to clean up after us. I cease to be amazed at the way areas of the site are left by some users. Unfortunately we did not take any photos. The washing up areas were often left in an…
Had a caravan for many years and toured in the U.K. and in Europe many times but we have both taken early retirement and want to do a lot of travelling so sold the caravan in late 2017 and ordered a motorhome. The new motorhome was delivered in early March and we are very pleased with it. Immediately started making plans…
FANTASTIC Whilst I’m reluctant to share a fantastic review on the Eastridge Caravan Park since it’s a pure gem, I don’t want to become selfish. Firstly, I cannot speak highly enough of the owners Chris and Deb Pinches. In particular Chris. This is only our second outing with our tourer and being of mature years has been…
This is our third visit to this area of Eastern Essex as its stunning countryside holds us spellbound with its flat lands, creeks and sea. The weather can be a big part of its beauty and mystery. Unlike my previous stories I shan’t format it as a daily diary but identify places that we visited. We stayed at the fantastic…
Just come back from Moreton In Marsh. Lovely place to visit, you can walk into town and the Falconary Centre is so worth a visit. Staff at Site were friendly. It was a shame that the showers , I have just read a fellow campers gripe this evening. Each shower that I went into either had mud in or was full of hair.It really…
Had a lovely 5 nights in the Cotswolds touring around. However the club site is in dire need of more hard-core on the pitches, it was raining when we arrived, but soon cleared, but the pitches never absorbed the excess water, quite a muddy site. All other amenities were fine. Thanks for a lovely stay
