Hi folks, Which is the best site to access viewing of the Mach Loop. Ideally we would like hard standing service pitch. Thanks, David.
First visit since CAMC took over. Delighted to say that nothing has changed apart from facilities make over. Even 2 of the original wardens, who stopped by for chat. None of this "no mow May" madness either. Site is almost empty. About 10 outfits on Butter Meadow.
Less than two weeks to go, No Mow May 2024 is nearly upon us. Despite the belief of some this initiative is not about a total abstinence from mowing but is about finding area as large as practicable and possible, to leave for nature to do its best. This way the birds and the bees benefit but so will we. We all need to find…
So I was looking at a Club Site in Wales earlier today to book next week, there was availability, only showing 'LOW' over next weekend. I went back to book at 8.30pm tonight, to find the website down. Eventually got on at 9.10, to find all pitches full, even early in the week, which I found strange. I have picked a few…
Hi We are towing from Pontefract to Cromer. We are joining the A17 at Newark. And wondered if the services at long Sutton or kings Lynn were caravan friendly with good access . Thanks
Does anyone know if Bath Chew Valley is still an AS site? If I use the app, it's not coming up on the map and I can't seem to find a page for it by using the search. However, if I go straight to the Chew Valley website and click on the CAMC logo, the page comes up on the CAMC website. All a bit strange.... I guess it could…
We have just done our first touring type holiday in our self converted camper and used all club sites in care of apocalyptic weather or some other disaster that forced a change of location. I noticed that all the sites I picked stated they were 'peaceful off peak'. But how do you know when 'off peak' is? I imagined that…
Hi There, I'm looking to book in here but I'm worried about ground clearance over the bridge. I have a Bailey Alliance 1999. Can anyone help? Has anyone with an alliance had any problems getting on site?
I was aware that the C&CC had lodges on some of their sites but I didn't know they also had static caravans. Apparently they have upped their charges for removal and re-siting statics when they reach 15 years of age which, to me , seems a bit young to have to replace something? The article is here…
I know not all of you get the regular emails from the Club but I thought I would post a link to the refurbishment of Cayton Village near Scarborough. There are a couple of videos as well. See Link here. We enjoyed our stay there last year although we had some misgivings. However the upgrade looks to address most of those…
