Is it just me, or does anyone else feel the prices for pitches are way too expensive. Knaresborough club site. 3 adults and one child - £58.60. That's disgusting! Won't be staying there and to be honest, I am not sure why I am a member, most of the sites I have stayed at are independent.
Just seen the details for the Lincolnshire site so thought I would do the same with this one which was in the Bridgwater planning a couple of weeks ago and have been unable to see the plans, it is for a large storage area upto 500 units and 20 hard standing touring pitches a small toilet block and staff accommodation and…
I notice there is now a link to directions to site on the details page of the booking website. No more needing to access the old pages. Well except if you want to leave a review, perhaps they will put a link to that as well. I’m not sure when the link to directions appeared, I’ve only just noticed it when accessing a site…
Hi We have a large 8ft caravan and Range Rover tow car (so long) and as we were new to caravanning 18 months ago, I used the A1/A47 route (as it is dual carriage some of the way and wide roads) The A17 always comes up as the quickest and shortest way in, and I’m just wondering what people’s experience are on the A17 v A47…
Anyone taken a touring caravan onto Isle of Mull ? If so where did you stay and any practical issues - ferry roads etc ? Thanks.
Hi All - Just seen the announcement from the Club regarding the new BT powered WiFi on Club sites. I can't help thinking that this is stabledoor/horse has bolted - the internet is free and ubiquitous in most places. This will provide free email access and social media posts but you will have to pay if you want streaming…
I have felt quite anxious about what to write/who to write to regarding the below situation, so thought as a start to see what fellow members think. We are three families, 2 adults and 2 children in two of the families and 2 adults 3 children in the other family, we also have a set of grandparents that are present but they…
Hi, I tried to book a site but my van is 20 cm over the "8m50cm limit". Called site as required and told that 8.5 m is max. Odd used the site twice last year etc. In fact parked next to a much larger motorhome on second visit, one of several but not really jealous.... Before I start the discussion with the head sheds does…
Hi We are looking to visit Pembrokeshire in May but two of the dates we wanted to go to the Freshwater East site are fully booked. We have booked three nights at the club site near St David’s but wandered if anyone had any recommendations for two nights somewhere else in Pembrokeshire? We’ll need loos and showers! many…
Also another question I’ve got is , I’ve come across a few sites that say 7 metre Motorhome’s are the limit. When I e mail the actual camping resort the management just seem to say no problem and look forward to seeing you ! Ours is a Motorhome of 7.33 metres . So is it best just to go and hope for the best ?
