Also another question I’ve got is , I’ve come across a few sites that say 7 metre Motorhome’s are the limit. When I e mail the actual camping resort the management just seem to say no problem and look forward to seeing you ! Ours is a Motorhome of 7.33 metres . So is it best just to go and hope for the best ?
Just in case anyone is travelling to or from the north east to the Melrose site and area the A68 and the A6088 are closed from 9am to 3pm Monday to Saturday at Carter Bar for the next three weeks. The A68 closure is posted on a website but not the A6088. This means anyone from/to Melrose can't use the A68, or the A6088…
We have just come back from holiday in Lincolnshire and there was a notice up in the Gents and Ladies toilet asking you NOT to put dog waste in the INTERNAL waste bins by the washbasins I couldn,t believe that members would do such a thing

Possible Belvoir Castle Site Hope this link works. Article about the CAMC setting up a new site in Lincs, near to Belvoir Castle, which is in Leicestershire. The site is very close to the Grantham Canal. I haven't looked up what has gone to SKDC planning dept yet. Moderator Comment - Link Edited
When looking to book a site and it shows low availability what does it mean and what is the actual figure. i.e. is it less than 10 percent / 20 present / 30 percent? Does anybody know?
We're travelling up to Cayton next Sunday, and as hubby tows, I am responsible for the route! I'm sure that there is a hill somewhere on either A64 or A614 that we can't take the caravan up. Any advice on routes gratefully received.
Just read on a review that the Marazion site is due for closure. Does anyone know if this is correct and can CAMC sites team confirm or not? Thanks.
Hi folks, Which is the best site to access viewing of the Mach Loop. Ideally we would like hard standing service pitch. Thanks, David.
First visit since CAMC took over. Delighted to say that nothing has changed apart from facilities make over. Even 2 of the original wardens, who stopped by for chat. None of this "no mow May" madness either. Site is almost empty. About 10 outfits on Butter Meadow.
