I have just removed my 13 pin tow bar from my old 2011 Vauxhall insignia elite hatchback to a 2016 same model. I am told it won't fit due to changes in depth of the new bumper. I am having to part-ex my diesel Yeti 2.0 TDi 110PS that tows my Lunar Stellar (1230kg MTPLM) adequately at 89%. I rather like the look of the Skoda Karoq 1.5TSi 150PS ACT. (150hp.1500 kg max towing weight on 12% slope. Min KSW without driver 1305kg) so does anyone have any experience of towing with the Karoq.
Hi, Quick question about noseweight, if my car says ‘do not exceed 85kg’ and when the caravan is running at the Plated MTPLM of 1771kg, using the 5% rule for a twin axle the noseweight comes in at 88.55kg. If I position payload correctly would this bring down the noseweight to my maximum of 85kg? Thanks.
