hello caravaners, I share my car with my mum, she in her late 70s and not a confident driver. She sate putting a tow bar on the back will interfere with parking and could cause damage to other cars (car is too old for a detachable tow bar). Does anyone have experience of this?

I'm about to order a new BMW X5 with a manufacturer fitted towbar. Will the tow ball itself need to be compatible with our Elddis on an Alko chassis, what will i need to specify? Hi Newbie Van owner. Were off on our first trip tomorrow. Just connected the caravan to my VW T5 and the ALKO isnt showing any lights. My vehicle is fitted with a 7 Pin so using an adapter, all lights are working apart from reverse. Anybody got any suggestions. Many Thanks Jamie
