What a fabulous series this is proving to be. Today’s programme was particularly interesting for me as it explored the changing attitudes, practices and philosophies towards nature over six decades. Interesting to learn how Richard Attenborough and Peter Scott in particular modified their stances and attitudes towards…
Apologies if there was a previous thread (?) but I enjoyed the recent series...even though it's so far removed from the Anne Cleeves books that it's a whole different set of tales, especially the ending. It took me ages to work out the characters in the TV series as some were far removed from the book plots, not sure which…
Southport booked for the weekend. Just need to get tickets now. Anyone else hoping to go?

The latest series of this classic (subtitled) Italian detective series is currently showing on BBC 4 on Saturday evenings, with all episodes on BBC Iplayer. All the old cast, locations, food and fun. As brilliant as ever. Next week shows the very last episode, a must for fans of the Inspector and Sicily👍

Each episode ends on a real…

As a radio ham I have recently had a contact with the BBC amateur radio club in London and been informed the station in Droitwich just down the road from our house will be shutting down within 3 years which will include 5 live and of course radio 4 on the long wave I did get a chance to go round the place a few years ago…
