    Kate Rusby’s cover of ‘True Colours’(Cyndi Lauper) is beautiful, very haunting. She has a voice that suits modern Folk music excellently👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻

     Quite a surprise there, Nellie surprised  I thought you were about to tell us about a certain WALRUS splashing along the eastern coastline which caused some celebration to be cancelled in case it disturbed it's pleasure cruising  wink

    Thor popped in to Scarbs for a quick hello as he headed North. They cancelled the fireworks to ensure they didn’t stress the big Guy-a grand Yorkshire welcome👍🏻

    He’s back on his travels again😁 Plopped gently into harbour yesterday, so glad he’s doing ok. Fabulous boost to Scarborough’s Winter fun, and thankfully he seems to have been well looked after at a distance. Well done the Council for putting him first👏👏 Just needs his visit recorded with a song or a poem👍

    He was a “comfort” visitor…….”cum f’t day!” 🤣

    Oh yes😁 The New Year dippers were as well👍 I once swam off South Beach one February, back when I was young, fit and crackers❄️❄️❄️

    I surfed Scarbs-not so young but heavy on the crackers. . .Not for long I didn’t, even the thermal wet suit didn’t help brrrrr❄️🥶🥶

    We both have tough genes, still enjoy swimming when we can in UK. OH is banned without a wetsuit now, his so called dicky ticker couldn’t take the shock anymore.
    I have a cousin who has swum Cayton Bay, Windermere, Coniston, etc…, and we have a couple of neice’s who are regular wild swimmers. One even won a medal up in Scotland a few years ago in the Ice Swimming Championships. She has an ice barrel at home to dip into to keep her resilience up🥶🥶🥶🥶 I ain’t that bonkers any more. 🤣

    Imagine having Thor emerge alongside mid swim🫣🤣

    The walrus was last seen on a pontoon in the yacht marina at Blyth, Northumberland this afternoon.

    I surfed Tolcarne at Newquay one Whitsun. My OH had to unzip me from my wetsuit as my hands wouldn't work. Don't dip my toes in until I'm south of the fortieth parallel now. It's alright for Thor, he's got a bit more fat than me.
