Does anyone know how to clean the dirt from between the two layers of the roof vents above the washroom of a modern Bailey caravan please? Is it necessary to remove the roof vents?

Remove complete unit and put in dishwasher was the advice I once read.

Thanks guys. The U tube video by Dan Trudgian is very helpful. I just need to make sure I have the correct tools.

My sky lights have 5 years of grime in them and wil benefit from a good clean. Just need to pick a fine day for the job!

I have a similar roof light which I have clean several time in much the same way as the video shows. Not sure about the dishwasher idea, such heat and abrasive cleaners could do more harm than good. In the video he seems to think that the outer shell was in need of a polish but I thought it was smoky because of the plastic was tinted.

Many thanks your response. I am also sceptical re the dishwasher idea.
