I have seen requests for advice on here about selling your motorhome……
Well, I can't compliment the above company enough.
Having sent an enquiry, I received a phone call within a couple of hours from Jason who wanted a few more details…. I was honest about the recent 'attempted' theft (this didn't show as an accident on HPI but did show several insurance enquiries which I was told was insurance companies searching for patterns, repeat claims, fraud). We discussed options re brokerage/cash sale & quickly agreed a price that, in my opinion would have been comparable whichever way I went.
I was expecting a long drawn out process but they were happy to come & assess the next day, which I declined for the day after. The price agreed, which I received in an email, was obviously subject to the vehicle being 'as described'.
On production of FSH & boiler check, their assessor Chris made a phone call & the £££'s were in my bank.
A very quick & simple process.

Yes, I had a very similar experience with Jason but he sure does talk the talk.

I was under the impression that Motorhome Depot sold vans on a brokerage basis, didn't realise they purchased vans direct. When I was selling my motorhome I tried one of those "we by any van" companies and they just said they were not buying at the time. I then approached the dealer I purchased the van from and they seemed happy to buy it back and I thought I got a reasonable price and like you the transaction went through very quickly and trouble free. Lets face it if you have decided to sell the van either look for a different one or giving up you want the process to be as short as possible so I am sure you are pleased that it all went well. A lot less stress!

MHD do brokerage and also buy outright. They prefer brokerage as there’s no come back on them and they don't have to store the vans but it leaves the seller up in the air not knowing if it will sell or not. I’m sure I posted this the other day somewhere🤷🏻♂️
