Hi there just wondering if there are any members who have purchased the Balletto Air 390 Elements ProShield , and could they share their reviews. We have had for the last 5 years a Vango Somerby 360, and although we have had some problems with bursting air bladders it has been quite a good and robust air awning. Thinking now of changing for the Balletto 390 proshield. Any advise positive or negative would be appreciated

We had a 2016 Vango Varkala that had problems with bursting bladders and reported this to Vango at the NEC caravan show. They told us that they have undergone a complete business review, as Quality Control had become an issue, and that manufacturing was now much improved.

They sent us FOC replacements which kept us going for a bit longer, but by last year it was getting very scruffy, so we chose the Balletto to replace it and, so far, are pleased. We've had a couple of drips around the seams of one of the end doors, but rather than send it back I just put some sealant on it.

The only negative I have are the little triangular pads that are meant to help seal it to the side of the caravan. The strap system that replaces the rail works well, but the little pads are rubbish. I just took them off, and it works just as well

    Yes, ours is the Proshield.

The material is a good quality, and a lot stiffer, but I would expect that given the state of the Varkala
