Fitting a Tow Bar

I need to fit a tow bar to my recently purchased Volvo XC60.
towbarexpress.com will come & do it for £643 (detachable swan neck).
Can anyone recommend any alternatives?
I live in East Kent, near Folkestone.

Another national company is PF Jones - they will give you a quote to supply and fit . But speak to your local Volvo main dealer as well - some do the job in house and some sub contract it. Either way they will give you advice, especially about the electrical side of things - which isn’t always done correctly for caravan use.

Looks a good quote and I doubt you will save a lot on that. It is about the same as we paid about 18 months ago for our car. You can do a google search for others to see what they want. The club do get you a discount on some but I doubt they will beat that.
I agree check they are fitting caravan compatible electrics and that they are using the car makers dedicated wiring as otherwise you might lose any guarantee.

I looked at an XC40 recently. When asked about a factory fitted towbar the dealer told me they did it, not the factory. It's a drop down swan neck with the 13 pin socket built into the side, all for about £1,400.
If you can get what you require for £643, buy it.
