- WHALE SPACEHEATER - (Elddis Magnum)
I wonder if anyone has had a similar problem? The Whale Water Heating System is fine. No problem. The Warm Air Blower/Spaceheater, is not! On the 'Display' I receive an error message - 'Unable to communicate with the Spaceheater. If the problem persists, please contact Whale Support'. It did indeed persist and I contacted Whale Support, to no avail! Whale 'talked' me through the set-up of adding the 'Spaceheater' via the 'Module' and entering a specific code (94253 or similar - can't exactly recall!) After this code is entered, I am instructed to start the appliance for it to be added - obviously, in this case, the spaceheater. I start it, but again, but no fan/blower. When I look again in the 'Module' section, the Water heater is showing as connected, the spaceheater is not. Apparently, when the Whale System is switched on, it is said to automatically find both water heater and spaceheater. Another particular mystery, is the fact that on the bottom RHS of the Display where Leisure Battery Voltage is normally displayed, there is only the 'V', No figure of Voltage is showing, yet the Battery is fully charged. Be grateful for any assistance - or suggestions, please?

DDo you have an alternative heat source? A small fan heater or oil filled radiator as a standby? Especially if you're experiencing the cold murky day we have here - again!

Thankfully, we really aren't ones for bothering to go away in the winter, unless it's to our Son and Family, 200 miles away - and we won't be going anywhere now until April as we're away in Lanzarote for a couple of months into the New Year.
