Caravan cover size

Hi,

I am looking for a caravan cover for my coachman 580/5. I had a bespoke specialised cover before but I'm going to get a generic one now for cost.

The body is maximum of 21' long and I'm looking at maypole cover.

The choice of size I have is 19-21' or 21-23'.

I know to he safe, you could go for the larger size, but I'd rather the cover was snug rather than have a bunch of loose fabric to gather up with straps.

Does anyone have a 580/5 and have any first hand recommendations on size?

Grateful for any info.

Thanks in advance

I would speak to the supplier who will have a better idea. Do be warned though that if it does not fit tight, and many do not, it can cause rubbing of the paint or window damage. Only a model specific one made to measure can guarantee the tight fit you need.

Without testing it on the caravan, it is probably impossible to say which is the best fit for your caravan, but the larger one looks risky, as it is likely to be loose.

Bespoke covers are more expensive for a reason. They're better.

I had a maypole, and it barely lasted a year, with holes appearing at all corners, top and bottom.

    Buy cheap, buy twice.
