Open Country on BBC Sounds
I have been following this series on many different aspects of our countryside, and today I listened to one which would I think before special interest to MILLIEHULL (can't get the @milliehull to work whatever I do!!) It is entitled Tales from the Quoile Riverbank.
There is one that should be of interest to both @Tinwheeler and TAKETHEDOGALONG (Same problem again!!) entitled "Battery Rocks", as in those near to Penzance. There are also others about "Britain's deadliest footpath", The Broomway, Essex's seapath, (ONEPUT), "The Maelor" [or Flintshire (detached)], (WHERENEXT) and many more.

Wrote the above yesterday. Checked tge thread over a cuppa. There was my post just sitting there. So I pressed pot comment and it worked. A huge improvement on the old forum which ate your posts if you accidently left the page! 😃

@bakers2 🤣 your type lurgy is affecting me
@nelliethehooker thanks, will have a listen. Penzance Lido is on my bucket list, lovely old pool. Plymouth Lido as well. I used to take Mum and Dad down to Penzance each year, and we were usually there for the Golowan Festival. Sometimes the big fireworks display was centred around Battery Point, with the Red Arrows swooping across the bay and round and round St Michael’s Mount. Not at the same time though😁
