No sites in Scotland included in the spring and summer offers?

Thank you very much club, will certainly be using them.

And although I won't be using them I'm glad to see the return of kids for a £. That will certainly help families especially as it includes up to 18 year olds.

Although under the banner of A new year means new savings, the tour for less at £22 is actually the same as last year, at Altnaharra at least. We stayed last June at £ 21.30 a night. It would now be £22, which accounts for inflation. Worth every penny though.😀

Kids for £1 is a good move but imposing minimum stays, especially 5 to 7 nights is not attractive to most touring motohome owners.

Yet I've seen many MHs staying for as longer or longer than that on many club sites and this offer is made to club site users. And of course the same could be said for touring caravans?

But it's an offer, use it or not, designed to get more people on club sites staying longer. While it might be of benefit to some, the main benefit is for to the club.

Our maximum stay since we switched to a Motorhome is 4 days and more normally 2 / 3. However, even if we were tempted to stop for 5, as @KjellNN pointed out, Scotland in its entirety seems to have been omitted from the summer offer. You would have thought they might have named a couple.

It will help some people particularly parents as the childrens charge can make some sites too expensive for many and was far more than the actual cost. The cost of extra persons on a site is minimal but the pricing structure hammers larger parties.

The minimum nights requirement is probably needed to cover the reduction in the site fee. The longer bookings cost less although I appreciate that this benefits some more than others. I say this as someone who often books four nights, but realise the economies to he site operator of longer stays.

I would imagine that the sites and conditions of number of nights are specifically targeted and apply where they are needed most to generate more income? I suppose the idea is to get longer stays from certain members.

The club will have looked at previous offers and seen how effective they have been. If a site or indeed a country in this latest case isn't on the list there must be some reason behind it. Either Scotland is doing well enough or the offer wouldn't induce more people to go there? Were there some Scottish sites on the last offers? Maybe they were not that successful? All conjecture but there must reasons?

I suppose it’s possible they just forgot to list them🤔 @Cornersteady There is another mistake in regard to Autumn offers, when I touch on it I get the summer ones again. Although you can get to them by scrolling right to the bottom and touching another link. There are two Scottish sites in the Autumn offer.

Melrose and Stonehaven are usually popular, they are on offer for the Autumn. Some sites in England are in all 3 offers, and some of them I would have thought are popular sites. Cannot really understand the reasoning behind the choice of which sites are in the offers.

I had a glance at some of these offers, not had the time to take a good look at the details at the moment. It’s good to see the kids for £1 offer back, and the fixed price for two adults at certain sites, albeit at less of a range of sites than a few years ago, as many of the lovely no facility sites have now gone. At least this offer puts some of the Club Sites in the same price range as a good few CLs.

Sadly, we are still in no position to enjoy anything😢 But it’s good to know the offers are out there.
