starting a new thread...

Could I suggest that anyone thinking of starting a new thread first put the subject into the search box and see if it has already been discussed anywhere. Now that CT is getting busier, threads move down the pages much more quickly and often get forgotten.
Duplicate threads then appear and go over the same ground again.

the old format was quite easy to start a new thread. But since the new shake up I don’t really under stand how !
