Forum Tags - Why?
I note that for some reason I have now been tagged "Name Dropper". Frankly I find that offensive and derogatory. The accepted definition is:
"someone who mentions famous people or institutions to appear more important or to indicate an association with them. Name-dropping is usually regarded negatively and can be considered a breach of professional ethics."
I don't do that in general and I have certainly not done so on this forum. @Rowena perhaps you would like to explain.

Haven’t got a clue how to tag anyone @LLM, or to check any kind of tags out. You might be better asking Rowena directly via contact in Community Guidelines rather than with a Discussion thread. 🤷♀️ I think I have seen a Tags box somewhere, but not sure where.

I've just noticed I've also acquired the same tag. What is it all about and why?

I suspect that you are thinking old forum @Takethedogalong. I used the @ thing to attract her attention. On the 21st century forums I use that normally works well, but I confess I'm not sure it works on these 20th century type.

🤣🤣🤣 I have just realised what is going on, nothing sinister or nasty. It’s one of the badges that get attached to a contributor once they have performed so many actions. In this case it’s if you have used the @ feature to highlight someone to give a direct response. Photo below……
@LLM so you are merely one of dozens who have used the tagging feature, not someone who has been singled out for an insult😁

It does work, LLM, and Rowena responds but usually we discuss forum issues in a thread in the CT section here -
