If any of you are members of this forum can you tell me if you can get into the discussion area. For some reason Norton keeps disconnecting the webpage and won't let me in.

Thanks

David

I can get in using my tablet (which doesn't have Norton!) and I did start a discussion on the subject but site admin (not the mods) seemed to be a bit dismissive that it was anything to do with the forum although they did suggest one of the advertisements might be causing it. I have also taken the matter up with Norton but they say they won't change anything because they still think the file is a problem. Funnily enough Margaret is having a problem with Norton on her laptop which flags up something on the BBC News website but doesn't block it. If it persists I think I will have to find an alternative to Norton despite having used it for probably 10 plus years.

Rare reader here, but I can get straight in, both as a guest, and when signed in. Another IPad user. Don’t use Norton.

Never had a problem accessing it , David.  However, I use Macs and Intego anti-virus software on both of them - so, from the above comments, it's pointing towards Norton being the problem.  That said, I'm sure I've seen posts on there from you fairly recently which points towards something on the forum having changed.

    Richard

The forum was sold a while ago to a forum hosting company called VerticalScope Inc, which is a Canadian company, the previous owners was a company called Alphaquad. So we have a situation where it is run remotely but with local admin/moderators. Interestingly VerticalScope also run the Kia forum which I also belong to and as yet I have had no problems at all with that forum. So its a bit odd that there are two different outcomes?
