Club site booking issue - payment

Has an anyone else encountered a web site after paying by credit card for a booking? We've had it a couple of times, after the transaction has been verified by logging into the bank's app, the club's page stops its "waiting for verification" pop-up but then immediately fails with an xml <WebApiError>. Interestingly, the credit card statement knows about the transaction - it's logged as "pending", and disappears after a couple of days so no harm done.

We generally have to use a different card, and go through the pain of choose site - select dates - check availability.....etc. As an aside, Club Sites are generally now our last resort.

    CAMC uses Worldpay to handle payments. Does that explain anything?

    No, it's my belief the Worldpay part proceeds ok, it's when Worldpay hands the transaction back to the club website, it's the Club that throws up the exception. Have used Worldpay successfully on numerous other sites.

    I've reported it to the Club but I'm not really expecting a positive response, I've sent a screenshot of the actual fault.

    Perhaps it might be better to ring them?
