Hi, l am hoping to travel south from Hull and stay at the Crystal Palace campsite SE191UF on 9th Nov for Remembrance Day on Sunday 10th. I saw an old post (2019)about approaching the site via M25, A3 to avoid Ulez and CC. Is that route still and option for me. If so l would be grateful for any advice or a route map.

Many thanks Bobm

Does the info on the site's webpage or the accompanying detailed pdf answer your questions? A lot will depend on your particular vehicle.

Both London sites within the M25 are within ULEZ, so no escape! Check out your vehicle here

It is the wrong side of London for you but Alderstead Heath Club Campsite is just off Jct8/9 of the M25 and outside the ULEZ zone. I stayed there last month and chose it for that reason.

I caught the train in from there to sing at the Albert Hall. (From Coulsdon South)

P.S. You need to follow their straight forward directions off the M25 to get there or you potentially enter ULEZ territory but they are straight-forward enough.

Bobm, On the north side of London you may find the Commons Wood site convenient for you - and go into London from there by train.

There’s also Wyatts Covert. A short drive to Denham station. From there a train takes you into Marylebone and the London network.
