Window relaminating

I've spent ages reading about how to fix a delaminated window.  Removed the window from my Sterling Eccles 2006, only to find I can't remove the runner at the top.

All the discussion is about unclipping or sliding out the the window.  That is not possible on these windows - the runner has clearly been put on in the factory.  I've tried to bend the metal with no success.

Just wondered if anyone had had the same problem.

    No.

The window comes off fine (lifting above the horizontal) but the metal clip is fixed on (and glued it seems) so tightly that I can't believe it was ever intended to be removed.

    Very strange.
