Hi all,

I am looking changing my tow car, unfortunately. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience of towing with a Volvo V60. I was thinking of either a mild hybrid like the B4 diesel or the plug in hybrid T6. My caravan weight is 1472. If anyone has any thoughts if would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Hi, I towed with a V60 T6 plug in hybrid and with a Towing capacity of 2000kg, it was effortless in pulling my twin axle MTPLM 1640kg

    hi monro21

I wondered if you bought a V60 and if you have towed with it yet, as I am thinking of buying one.

Please be aware of a design fault with the XC60. The door seal arrangement, particularly rear doors, allows lots of the muck from the road to be thrown into the door wheel arches where it needs to be cleaned out regularly. Volvo do have additional mud guards which fir to the wheel arched to reduce this problem. For some reason they do not fit these pats although they are fully cognisant of the issue. If you decide to buy an XC60 insist these parts are fitted before leaving the showroom at Volvo's expense.
