Please does anyone have experience of the Thule awning privacy rooms?

I've looked at the Quick fit, seems good and also the much more expensive option for about three times the price.

Is it really worth the extra?

Thanks

Joan

Similar to AD, we have the Dometic version, takes me 45 mins to erect, used a lot, extra sleeping space etc, I like the solid nature, but have a mate with a air one, envious of how simple, but both heavy and in a race to put up not much in it, simply comes down to choice, I have noted some have two a light version for ease, personally I am happy with the domestic camp room. good luck.

We have this Thule Quickfit which is suspended below the wind out canopy rather than connected directly to it. It is so much easier and quicker to erect and take down. One advantage are the zip in sides and front which can be left off if desired. Expensive yes, but easier for the touring motorhomers in my opinion.

Sorry, only just noticed this. The answer to this is no, we don’t leave it up in high winds. Did one very windy night and it kept us awake. However, this is easy to drop, strap down and secure the awning itself and wind in the canopy if really needed. Very easy to put back up then when high winds over.  No problem with rain.
