All Pitches Full for remainder of May?

So I was looking at a Club Site in Wales earlier today to book next week, there was availability, only showing 'LOW' over next weekend.

I went back to book at 8.30pm tonight, to find the website down.

Eventually got on at 9.10, to find all pitches full, even early in the week, which I found strange.

I have picked a few other club sites at random, some with no facilities which are usually quieter, all are the same - all have Pitch Full for every day in remainder of May.

Are there any admins out there, that can check whether this is a glitch, or is every pitch actually sold out, including before half term?

I suggest you ring the club in the morning, or use Live Chat, as it’s unlikely the staff will see your post here.

Maybe the site isn’t fully up and running yet after the maintenance shut down. Try again later.

But I suspect a staff member on live chat would just tell me the site is full!!

As is every site in UK it seems. I may ring the actual site, see whether they know availability.

    Why do you think that?

Just pick up the phone and ring the call centre tomorrow. The campsite will probably tell you to do that anyway.

I think TW could be right  that the system is not fully up and running at the moment. I have tried a couple of sites and as you say they show no availability for May but June is normal. Perhaps just wait until the morning to see if the situation changes and then ring the Call Centre if it hasn't. Whilst we are very used to the website being closed overnight to have it closed during the day and early evening is pretty unusual so that might suggest the booking system has not been fully restored?

Yes I've been monitoring a site for an extra day and before the website being off line there were two dates free, now it's all full, June is as posted above as it was

but didn't the closure screen say it was to do with banking? Also hasn't this full all dates happened before a while back?

i was looking to book a site but now says full.  Not worried though as i think the last time they took the site down to do essential maintenance it messed up the booking system. No way all pitches throughout the network are full for rest May! if they are then we can expect a reduction in our membership fee!with all this cash rolling in!

Sometimes the bookings system cannot be trusted to be correct. Last month we were pitched up on a site, half empty. I wanted to extend our stay by a night, but the bookings system was telling me the site was full. Looking out of the MH window, it clearly wasn’t, so I popped into reception the next morning. You need to contact HQ in the morning, and they will sort it out.

It appears to be back to 'normal' this morning.

Yes back to normal this morning - but why can't they post a note on their site when it comes back on line, saying there may be problems with the booking website.

And yes, it has happened to me before. Their communications needs to improve.

As for the online chat, I have just been told my magazine is lost by Royal Mail, for yet another month. My son, registered at same address, normally gets his on time (interesting how RM knows to lose ours but not his!) but his May one has only just arrived. The lady on the chat was awful - but thats another thread!

Glad to see my guess was right. You’d need to ask your question direct to CAMC.
