So sad to hear of his death. A brilliant mind and an amazing writer. Also a nice person by all accounts. He must have done so much work and research for his books. So sad that he died just days before Disney aired his book on TV and that he didn’t get to finish his last book due to ill health. A very clever writer.

    I too am very saddened to read of his passing.

    Great writer, who as you say, was a through researcher. I always felt I was reading history as it was lived.

    I enjoyed CJ Sansom’s books. Love historical based fiction, and his were very well researched. The TV programme has a very good cast. He no doubt was aware of its making, as development and filming take a very long time, so along with his books, I hope it serves as another reminder of a very good author.
