For the best roads……head east towards Aberdeen till you come to the Aberdeen by pass road, head north on it to the A 96 and take that as far as Keith where you then take the A95 towards Grantown on Spey, and stay on it till you come to the A9, then south to the  turning for Newtonmore and Kingussie, A86

Have used this route towing our twin axle.

Many thanks for your reply that looks a good route to take. Did not like the look of the roads on the most direct route and would not trust the satnav so back to good old map .The shortest route is always the best or fastest .I will take your good advice in two weeks time .Thank you

Can I gently suggest that it would be better to include the destinations on which you seek assistance in you subject line? Otherwise we are left guessing as to what destination from Morocco to the North of Norway requires our assistance and this site is such a slow load.

P.S. Minor roads are such a lottery!
