Watch out for towing capacity between models. Mine is 2017, and the 2 wheel drive has a limit of 800Kg, and the 4 wheel drive is 1650Kg, a big difference. The later models may have different numbers, but possibly the same 2/4 wheel drive differences. I think you will find yourself a bit close in any case with a 1500Kg caravan.
My handbook states that the car is designed for carrying passengers, not for towing, and then goes into detail about towing procedures !
(I have a Landcruiser going spare that could easily tow 2 of your caravans at once).
Cheers.

I trust you are referring to the current ‘new’ shape? The previous hybrid was not a great tow car however the new one in my opinion is. Red kite is correct regarding towing weights however 1500kg is 150kg below the limit so not remotely a problem. You are either legal or you are not. Anything else is opinion. Bear in mind the manufacturer has already incorporated a margin of safety. The only note of caution is the noseweight is 70kg which is a touch on the low side. i tow with the PHEV version and it is one of the very best tow cars I have had. The PHEV has a tow limit of 1500kg and a kerb weight of circa 1950kg. The MTPLM of my van is 1550 kg and my towing set up is perfectly legal (wait for howls of protest).
