Access to concealed plumbing

Hi I am looking for some advice on how to remove some box skirting in the bathroom of our Auto Sleepers Mayfair caravan .

At our recent service our mobile engineer found that some of the Whale (white) push fittings were showing signs of beginning to leak, apparently this is quite common with these. He suggested that we replace these with John Guest fittings, which from his experience were a much more reliable.

This I have managed to do for the vast majority which are readily accessible in various cupboards etc., but it appears there may be some fittings that are not readily accessible, due to being enclosed by a box type skirting around the bathroom floor between the toilet and vanity unit

Does anyone have any experience of hoe this skirting mat be removed and eventually reinstated.

Thanks in anticipation.

Les

We had a similar leak in the bathroom from new. Had to go back to the factory. The whole of the bathroom was removed to access the faulty pipe work and fixings. Thankfully all under warranty.

Have a google or look on ebay where you can get various trim removing tools. Sometimes it can be easier long term to get new trim and go mad removing the old. Some caravan and motorhome panel are just not meant to be removed. To change the tap in my pvc bathroom sink I had to cut a large enough whole in the sink unit and welded a plastic sheet over it afterwards as the whole sink unit was installed in one piece so it would have been like micky says above going back to the factory or stripping down the whole bathroom.
