New caravan

We started with a motorhome, then went to caravan, then to campervan. We have found the campervan just too small for long stays, so we are sort of returning to caravanning as we collect our "new to us" Swift 580 on the 6th December.

We are going to put her on a seasonal club pitch next year, using our campervan as a tow vehicle (yes, we have checked with the club - no issues).

It gives us the best of both worlds as we then have the campervan as a day vehicle (meaning and I can go off for a days golf, leaving my wife happy in the caravan) and if we want a break from our seasonal pitch we can just go off for a few days in the campervan, knowing our caravan is safe left on the site.

Sounds like a great idea, but I don't think it would work for us as we like extended tours or 4 to 6 weeks at a time.

Sounds good, GG. It’s something we’ve thought of to give us the best of both worlds 👍
