Change of layout

Is it my imagination or has the Club changed the layout of the pages. They seem to be now composed differently with the menu being in a different frame to that of the subject matter. The trouble is when changing pages the menu frame is not always coming up without a refesh on my PC and Firefox browser. Is anyone else seeing the same?

The only difference I’ve noticed is the frequent appearance of an annoying banner saying something about booking and overseas. It won’t matter much on a bigger screen but it’s a nuisance on my phone..

There's an extra European campsites and crossing tab above which I I first noticed either last night or this morning.

Mine seems fine Peedee. Looking at on a MacBookPro.

Has it fixed itself or is it still playing up?

I’m on an IPad with Safari and all seems the same.

Edit……actually, I keep getting the CAMC Booking App flashing up at the top of my page, but it does disappear then.

Thanks for the responses, something is not right. Firefox did an upgrade today so I don't know whether they caused it or it is the Club's site.

P.S. My own web site uses frames and I do not get the same effects on that.

There’s something different about it, PD. Sometimes that header panel stays on the screen as I scroll down so there’s always access to it but other times it sticks at the top as it always used to 🤷🏻‍♂️. Perhaps it’s incompatible with your browser?

I see TDA had the same banner experience as I did on my phone using Safari. I’ve not noticed it yet on my iPad, also Safari.

It would appear so. With Firefox when I scroll down the menu bar disappears but I can get it to come back by scrolling up again but when I get to the top of the scroll bar it disappears completely.  As long as I do not scroll to the very top I can get the menu bar back by scrolling down again. This is not the case with Edge, it comes back on scrolling up and is there even when I get to the top.

I assume that all was working with Firefox prior to the last, almost daily, maintenance update so what on earth did they do in that update to annoy Firefox?

I wonder if any other browsers are affected?

The mere fact that a maintenance is needed so regularly indicates that the system is only held together by a sticking plaster. No other website I deal with is this bad, in fact it is rare for a maintenance to be taking place when I want to use them be they banks or travel companies etc.

That is my opinion as well WN. It is the same problem on my Android tablet.

Yes, I'm using Firefox too, and yes, it was all working fine for me until yesterday morning.

Agree WN, the frequent maintenance is something I don't encounter on other websites.
