Towing Light Problems

I would really appreciate any help on this topic.

We pull a 2018 Swift Challenger with a 2021 Ford Ranger, both with LED lights. We are having problem with the towing lights (brake, indicators, side lights.) Sometimes we have to wait for twenty minutes for the lights to work, I think due to an in-balance in the power. And sometimes they don't work at all.

We have tried other towing vehicles with the caravan and everything works perfectly, and visa versa with the pickup on other caravan/trailers.

Has anyone experience this and is there something that can be done?

    Dirty connections?  Every now and then I have problems with lights not working - disconnect and reconnect works in this case.
