Steel Wheel recommendations
New to motorhomes and this club.
Have just purchased a Neismann Bischoff Arto 76 (2012 model) plated at 4500kg.
We will be taking this to Europe this winter for skiing and will get winter tyres fitted. But was also looking at getting a set of steel wheels to fit the winter tyres onto - then we always have 2 sets of wheels (alloys for summer and steel for winter) and won't need to keep swapping the tyres over.
Has anyone bought any steel wheels for their motorhome and can you recommend any good suppliers.
I'm based in Jersey, but will be driving up to the North West in October, so flexible on location.
Many thanks

Unfortunately we don't have a base vehicle supplier where I live as they recently went into liquidation, which is why I need to find somewhere in the UK. But thanks for the tip about contacting a base supplier - I will have a look in one of the manuals and see where the UK base dealers are located and contact them.

Take a wheel off, give it a good clean inside and photograph all markings before starting an Internet search. Or take it to a alloy wheel outlet and let them quote you for steel replacements with tyres.
You may like the price or you may not, but you should be then armed with the relevant hole size and pcd, offset etc.
As mentioned above you will need different nuts/bolts. The dunderhead seating for alooy is conical whilst for steel it is radiused. Bolts for alloy wheels are also generally longer by a few mm.

With the advent of all seasons cross climate M&S three peaks tyres I now consider having a set of specifically winter tyres an expensive unnecessary luxury. If you compare the performance of winter tyres to cross climate / all seasons tyres the difference is marginal.
