Hi all,

I replaced my Truma pump for the Whale as it seemed to get great reviews. Brilliant on the first use. When we have returned 2 months later for our next trip, it won’t work at all. I have resorted to my Truma pump which works.
Seems like no electrical contact is made so the pump isn’t activating. Anyone had similar issues? Much prefer the pump…if it works!

Have you tried bending the contacts in the Whale plug - slightly - and carefully?  I've just bought a new (spare) Whale pump and found I had to do this to get it to work consistently.

I changed both our pumps (internal and external) to Whale High Flows as soon as we got this van almost 5 years ago - performance is better by a long way and the pipe is much more flexible.

Cleaning the pins with emery paper might help help improve electrical contact.
