Built-in battery charger problem?

Just noticed while getting ready for our coming 1st trip, when running electric in the caravan the display turns to 'battery good' then when no electric is being drawn the display changes back to 'battery charging'.

It always showed as charging when plugged in. 

The multimeter is showing 12.9 and the battery is less than 2 years old.

Is this a sign of the charger on it's way out or could it be something else like a poor connection?

The charger is a sargent px300 and fitted to a 2017 sprite.

    Exactly the same here on my 2018 Challenger Hi Style 580.
