Hello everyone. We don't get the opportunity to tour often but want to do a coastal tour in the uk and want sites where you can see the sea. The closer the better! We have done Norfolk too many times so need other inspiration. Have you got any ideas? Cl or Club site but it has to have a loo or the other half won't be happy!

Club Sites, North Ledaig, Bunree, Carradale, all in Scotland.  Berwick, Old Hartley in North East. Freshwater East in South Wales. Lots more on coast, but depends on pitch.

There are lots of CLs, you just need to search a specific area.

Trewethett Farm in Cornwall is a CAMC site. We’ve watched a family of basking sharks from the pitch. There are also lovely walks along the coastal path to Tintagel and Boscastle in the other direction.  There’s also a bus stop at the top of the access road to the site. Hope this helps 😊

I like a sea view if there's something to watch so Plymouth Sound (no facs.) and Old Hartley have plenty of shipping on view.

Not club but it does have facilities, plus a good sea view.

I absolutely know that we are all different and some love a sea view, here locally houses with a sea view are much more expensive. Me, personally, and just my opinion, I would really avoid a sea view at all costs all I see is - blue, grey, rough, calm. Give me a river, canal, country views every time. Yep it’s a good job we are all different, anyone else?

You don’t specify exactly where you fancy going, (or where you are based) but I can highly recommend doing a coastal based tour in the Northumberland, East Lothian area. You have the A1 as an easy to use main route, it’s beautifully scenic in itself once you are above Newcastle, and if you deviate off it only a few miles, there are all sorts of coastal based CL’s, small private sites and one or two nice Club Sites. It has some fabulous scenery, wildlife and places to visit, very much a good place to hop between a few sites towing a caravan. 😁

Wherever you choose, have a nice time👍

Cornwall has every size and style of site by the sea you might want .

A five star commercial site right on the beach at Pentewan Sands, a popular Club site by the sand dunes at Godrevy, and at least a hundred farm based sites all around the coast -    Refer to UKCampsite.co.uk which has  them all and lists their facilities.

    Have a good holiday.

But note that Godrevy does not have a sea view from the site.
