I should have read the manual
after having a problem with the electrics on my coachman vip, ie battery sulphating, and alde heating panel blanking, i had the battery replaced and sent the boiler pcb and control to apuljacks for test/repair turns out they were both working and it was the control cable that runs through the cabinet work to the boiler, anyway new cable sorted, switched on, the panel works but got warning showing red failure, but its booked into caravan dealers for a check on alde system, but on reading the coachman manual it does say if storing the caravan over winter then remove control panel to a warm dry place. how many people do that.? anyway once the boiler sorted we are going to sell the van due to wifes ill health theres no way we would be able to use it she had a double fractured back so after 40+ years its time to call it a day.

Managed to get to dealers early today and Shawn the owner got straight onto it said leave it with them and come back in a hour so we went shopping and when we returned, Shawn said all fixed kept the old part, turns out it was the sensors on boiler that needed replacing, total with labour £89 parts costs £54 so not bad. Got van home and heater working.

Sorry to hear about your Good Lady's problems Kalamitty55, that puts your caravans problems into the distinctly lower class of problems don't it .
Just as a thought could it be possible to get, say, seasonal pitches and just go as and when the patient feels up to it ??
