8ft wide caravans should I make the switch

I am an experienced caravaner. We currently own a Lunar Clubman SE, single axle van 24ft shipping length and 7ft 8" width. We are keen to enjoy the advantages that an 8ft wide caravan would afford but would like to hear from others who currently own and use 8ft Caravans as to their experiences good or bad when caravanning.

    Have a look at this thread here where the subject has been discussed at length.  Plus it's cropped up in DSB's recent post re which caravan to buy. I don't regret making the move although I accept it does pose some restrictions and requires a bit of extra care when towing.
