Mobile Caravan Body Repairs

Whilst cleaning the caravan yesterday I found  a large crack on the rear panel, off side upper corner about 5inchs long. On tinternet last night I spotted a local (Tamworth) mobile caravan body repair company called "Caravan Scratch Fix".  Does anyone have any experience of using them. 

I am going to drill stop the ends of the crack today and put fresh gorrila tape back over. 

Please dont turn this post into a rant over UK caravan build qaulity - we all know its shocking.

    Hi we had what sounds like a similar crack on a Elddis 550 Affinity, it was a known issue and was rectified by a repair at the dealers using a cover/cap which covered the crack and was sealed. These caps are available on line if you want to have a go yourself.

    Thanks for the info, I just googled the caps and found a few pics of them in use, £75/pair on fleabay and definately a DIY job. 

    The Scratchfix guy as come back with a qoute of £295 but hasent got back on his availability.
