We have returned to caravanning after not doing so throughout the pandemic. We would like to find another caravan with a different floor plan

We are looking for a traditional 3 berth caravan. The older type with two forward sofa/ twin beds and a side dining table, and rear washroom.

We were told the magazine no longer has a "wanted" section and to try this discussion section. There are not many listings currently in the club's classifieds, so I thought I would try this .

Selling isn’t permitted on this forum although some others allow it if you search around for them.

    Have you tried Caravanfinder?

Actually, some of those 3 berths were classed as 4 berths because they could be fitted with a high level bunk above the dinette.

Correct, TW. Our Bailey Madrid had that arrangement. One could of course just remove the bunk, although I didn't. However I did just that on the Swift Challenger that we had before the Bailey, don't know why I didn't for the Madrid, it would have saved a bit of weight.

If I remember correctly, on our Bessacarr Cameo 550 it was an option when ordering the van. We had no need for it.

The Coachman 520s are also like this, ie 3 berth with an option for a top bunk over the side dinette to make a 4 berth. We didn't specify the top bunk on our 520 VIP, kept it as a 3 berth  and saved some weight.

Appreciate that TW but what is the difference in mitigation risk?

Until recently, I was a member of a 'prestigious' car club who had a section for Buy/Sell & for a minimal cost you could advertise with photos.....

Perhaps the club are missing an opportunity, although I guess this could be questioned given the state of their website..... I'm sure they could come up with some complicated T&C's to exempt themselves from any liability.....

It's up to the individual to get their checks done!

I was just stating the facts as they are, Kasspa. Mine is not to reason why.
