Motorhome awning showrooms
We’re thinking of getting a drive away awning for our Swift Champagne 184, but there seems to be a huge variety of makes/models/styles/options - not to mention prices!
Can anyone recommend a decent showroom somewhere in London/southeast/south midlands with a wide variety on display so we can get s better feel for what’s what than is possible by looking at photos on the web?!
Thanks!

Thanks - we were planning on visiting.
However, I see that it is book online only, no tickets on the door, i.e. you pay up front and then tough if you can't then make it. Which, for us, is not unusual, what with children at school etc, and it's not infrequent plans get changed because they've brought home something or other. Incidentally, that's one of the reasons we got a camper in the first place, because it's much more flexible than booking a cottage a year in advance. As far as the show is concerned, it means we'll wait until the night before to buy tickets (yes I know we won't get any discount).
However, I also see now that the Saturday tickets are already sold out, which leaves us with the Friday (the children have an inset day then). If, as seems likely, those tickets have gone by the time we get to the Thursday evening, then we won't be going. Ready customers, willing to spend what will probably be several hundred pounds, but we're apparently not wanted. Never mind, some booking company somewhere will have made a mint out of other people, and have all their email addresses to sell on, so that's good.
Sorry about the rant, but I'm fed up with all this having to book even the simplest stuff in advance!

Looks like tickets are all sold out now for Friday/Saturday which are the only two days we have available. So we won’t be going, and will of course save more than just the cost of a new awning - show tickets, travel, night away and some other activity on the “non-going-to-show” day, not to mention all the other things that we wouldn’t have meant to buy at the show but proved irresistible to one or other budget holder…!
Anyway, back to the original question, is there any more permanent display of awnings within 100 miles or so if London available to inspect without booking weeks in advance?
Thanks!
