New App
The new App isn’t working for me. I try to log in and all it does is sit there. Must be linked to the new booking system fiasco- anyone else having the same problem?

Same, it's not great. :-( It logs me in and then asks me to log in again saying my details are incorrect the second time???
Not keen on the website changes either.

I removed the original App and have now installed the new App three time and it is still not working. This is on my Samsung A50 Android phone.
1. It won't accept my Club log in on the front page.
2. It does show my future bookings with the option of amending or cancelling (untested by me!)
3. I seem to be able to get into the booking system and initiate a booking although again not completed by me.
4. When I try to access my membership card it invites me to become a member!
Looking at the consistently bad reviews of the App in the App Store I see there are some replies from the Club pointing you to an email address appfeedback@camc.com

Do they have a similar option for the website using Chrome as it does not work like it does with Edge......?
For the App, I have a Samsung S20, took 3 goes as I've said, it's workable but even if I'm signed in dependant on how I navigate it still asks to sign in again to access the web.

Just had a message saying the App had been updated so I decided to uninstall and reinstall. Unfortunately no more functionality as far as I can see. The front page login seems not to work still although I can see my bookings and it looks as if i can amend/pay etc. Still no sign of the membership card. There seems to be a second login a bit bit further in which does seem to work but still no membership card. Glad I stuck with the physical cards!

Hi, I've just seen the message but I only logged out and back in. I'm on Android and I've had the membership cards for myself and joint member from day one.

I'm very disappointed with the new app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled three times and It's still slow and clunky.
The maps struggle to load, it takes so long for the sites information to load and it's painstakingly slow - and I'm on 300mbps fibre broadband!
How could the Club roll out something not fit for purpose?

I had it on the old App and it worked perfectly fine. I agree the cards are there in the Profile. It strikes me that the Club are a long way from replacing the usual membership card with an electronic one!
On a wider note it seems a bit odd that some seem not to be having any issues with the new App but others are. That would almost suggest it was device specific whether it worked or not? Having said that I can't get it to work seamlessly on either my Android phone or Android tablet.

If they get the App to work correctly on Android, as it seems to on iOS, perhaps not so far away. It was easy to download the membership cards for myself and OH to my wallet with my other cards and it will even show on the watch.
I would like the app to work in landscape though, then you wouldn’t need to keep resizing the map.

EGH called me today about the Android App and my failure to log onto it. Apparently you need to ensure you have version 1.48 of the Caravan and Motorhome Club travel App. I am damed if I can find it on Play Store. If anyone has this version what did you search on? I can only find version 1.02 and that does not work.

I have just Deleted User the old app, yet again and downloaded it afresh and it now seems to be working. It let me login which seemed to be a problem before. I can see my bookings and I can now see my membership card. It looks as if I could also book a site if I needed to. When I go into app settings I can still see that it is version 1.02?

PS Also now working on Samsung Tablet.

Managed to log in to the app on my i-phone, and it shows my membership card and my single upcoming booking, and past bookings. Opened the booking but I cannot find the route to the site (not that I need it but it should be there soon the same). Tried to search for CL using the map facility, it took ages to do the search and when I selected one there was no price or directions for it. Waste of time compared to the old system.

It's still all very 'clunky'.... for the 4th time I've uninstalled then re-installed again & is still showing Version 1.02.
This is what I get!
From the App if I tap the 3 ... in top right hand corner it takes me to a page with multiple options.....
If I tap 'Your Info' it takes me to a log in page even though I'm signed in on the App!
If I tap 'Terms of Use' & then the 3 bars in top right hand corner I have access to the website!
I I tap 'Log in or register' it asks me to log in again even though I appear to be logged in!!!
If I 'log out', stops showing my Membership Card but I can still view my bookings, delete them or make a payment..... surely this should not be possible?

Rowena surely there must be people in HO that have android smart phones and tablets it can't be that difficult to get them to install the app and see for themselves how bad it is, I find it so slow its unusable in comparison the CCC app and website is very fast, the people in charge of this should get a grip and sort it.

Too true!The obvious reason that they are doing nothing to improve the situation is that the "club" has virtually no interest in CLs and by making them hard to research hope that members will just book club sites instead.

My wife is lucky enough to still have the old app on her mobile, I have the new one. We've been researching club sites and CLs in the Dorchester area.
My wife has looked at several CLs and has been reading reviews on her old app whilst my new app is still loading up the map.
This new app is not fit for purpose.
