Pre order caravans for 2023
We have put an order in for a coachman 2023 to take advantage of their price freeze. Our dealer has said that delivery would probably be Feb 2023 at latest March 2023. He gave us a exchange price for ours but if they could have our caravan by November this year he would give us a better deal. Has anyone had same experience

My advice is not to part with your existing caravan in advance. There are several tales on our forum of people ordering new vans, selling/trading in their old vans and then finding the new ones are delayed for months which results in them having no van and no holiday throughout the summer.

Totally agree with Tinwheeler.
Last week, we took delivery of our new Swift Conqueror 480, ordered last October. Delivered minus table, seems there are problems sourcing them. 🤔
When we ordered the ‘van, we were quoted a probable delivery date of April / May 2022, but nothing definite.
Our dealer offered a very good price for our trade in ‘van, if we sold it to him by Easter, and then we would get a good deal for a “no trade in “ when the new ‘van arrived.
Glad we didn’t take up the offer.And, oh, the new ‘van is very nice indeed, and we swapped the table over from our “old” ‘van 🙂

Pliers, we have a new Conqueror 480 too, but we ordered ours in mid June this year and picked it up on 26th July!!😁 We did know when we ordered it that the dealer had one on order for August, however it arrived earlier than they anticipated.

We ordered a new Motorhome last September for delivery this March and it arrived as planned. As we don’t use the van in the winter we were able to take the cash trade-in offer in September which would have been a much better deal than hanging on. Given the production problems last year which still persistent it was necessary to order early.
