Hi all,
we bought our 1st caravan in March this year, always wanted to try caravaning and the combination of staycation, change in the B+E licence, friendly local caravan dealer, middle life crisis, etc. made us take the plunge. Absolutely loving it (so far) and weather has been on our side too.
We are the proud owners of a Swift Major 6TD with ideal for the 5 of us and a large awning to store all the useless junk we seem to carry with us despite trying to be careful with what we pack.
Anyway, just wanted to say “Hi”
Etienne

Welcome to Caravanning world.
We've enjoyed every year of our 30+ years of adventure.
Don't be afraid of asking for advice on here. There's a lot of experience, mainly because we're all old!
Must admit this website for the forum is not that great but persevere and you'll find what you are looking for whether it is technical advice or ideas of where to go etc.
Good luck.

Hello and welcome from us.
I'm sure you'll have few, if any, regrets. Mishaps are par for the course so a sense of humour is good and the memories will be lasting.....
As slow and frustrating as this forum is 🤐 there's genuine help. Ask if you can't find something, this site search is rubbish! Google with CAMC is better. But folks happy to help and might even be able to find long useful threads on some recurring subjects.

Hi WeeFrog. Welcome to Club Together Look forward to reading how you get on with it all. We've not often taken our caravan to Scotland, but have managed Strathclyde, Grantown-on-Spey and Edinburgh so far this summer. Just finishing off our Somerset, Devon and Dorset tour, after which we've hired a cottage on Lewis for a week (our daughter, son-in-law and grandson live on the island)... 😀
Do let us know how you get on.
David
