List of Seasonal Pitches

Following a recent accident, I've been told that my mobility might be affected and I'm having to seriously consider how we continue our touring caravan holidays. One consideration might be to use club sites that have Seasonal Pitches.

I'm looking forward to making plans for our 2023 holidays but does any member know where I might find a link on the CAMC website that would show me which club sites in England, Scotland and Wales usually have seasonal pitches available each year. The only link I can find at the moment  shows only what's available for the rest of 2022, which I won't be able to use anyway, and I'm wishing to consider my 2023 options.

In recent years, I've found that the link to "Sites with Serviced Pitches" has been very useful - is there a similar list for "Sites with Seasonal Pitches" ?

Any other advice or suggestions about the use of Seasonal Pitches would also be appreciated.

     Afternoon

    On the website homepage if you hover over "find a uk campsite", then at the bottom of the drop down click on seasonal pitches. That page gives you a complete list for all club sites offering those pitches for this year. Some sites have pitches for the full season, some have part time ones ie spring and autumn. That list will not change for next year, only opening/ closing dates maybe, and probably pricing.

    Seasonal pitches for next year, along with an online booking form will be on the website in September. You will be informed by email in October whether you have a pitch on your chosen site or if over subscribed be put on a waiting list unless you have a second choice of site.

    Hi Tom.

    The date for applications for seasonal pitches hasn't been announced yet but, when it is, there will be a list of which sites have pitches available by clicking on the "Find a Club Site" Seasonal Pitches tab.

    I doubt if the 2023 list is available yet, but if you Google ‘CAMC seasonal pitches’ you can  see the current list with dates and prices as a guide. Ask the Club to send you the 2023 list when it is ready later this summer.  Applications usually have to be submitted by 1 st October.

    Applications can be made from October until the end of March for full season sites. Any unsold pitches after that go back in the touring pot.

    By far the easiest way to apply is by the online form which the member also supplies payment details.

     Thanks JK - yes that's helpful. That's the link I've tried but it only shows you the dates that are still available for this season.

    I'll wait until August/September when the full 2023 list comes available and, in the meantime, I'll consider the benefits. TL
