Kitchen Tap
Good Afternoon,
I have a 2010 Pegasus 534,and the tap in the 'kitchen' area is starting to become loose...so was wondering if anyone can tell me how to tighten the tap,how do I access the area under the tap etc... save me having to call out an engineer!
Thanks in advance!

Muso. On my 2009 Ranger it is simple and I would assume your Pegasus is similar. Under the top part of the vent there are 2 black slides at either end. Just slide them and ease the vent off, there is then a dust screen which just lifts out. Replacement is the reverse! The slides may be stiff if they have never been used; WD40 is you friend just spray on and leave for a couple of minutes.

Doesn't seem to be any slides on the vent,(I've attached a photo),or a horse shoe shaped clamp and long stud as Emilysdad suggested,so still struggling! Someone suggested I should remove the sink? but not sure if that would work either...so back to the drawing board??

We have a very small leak around the base of kitchen tap. My immediate thought was access the tap base through the upper vent of the fridge but, alas, this won't work. There is an aluminium sheet between the fridge and the sink base with no obvious method of removing it.

Thank you everyone for all your help and advice, much appreciated. Job now completed, and tap is tight! Bit of a tricky job working around the heat shields, besides the screws being in awkward places, the water pipes went through one of the shields so couldn't remove that one, anyway job done,so 'she who must be obeyed' is very pleased!... Off to Cornwell on Monday...take care and stay safe and cool!!
