Hi

It's time for the first MOT of my Elddis Majestic 180 [Peugot Boxer base] after buying it almost a year ago. We're in Richmond, Surrey and wondered if anyone can recommend a good place to take it please?

You could have a look at the Peugeot website as they list dealers who can handle motorhomes but unfortunately it is unreliable as some will handle PVC's but not coachbuilt. If you purchased it from a dealer have you asked them?

Speak to a garage in your home town - if they cannot do an MOT for a vehicle as large as yours they will advise you who can.

A simple Goggle search of Motorhome MOT Richmond Surrey returned the Richmond Service Centre

Rather than trying to find a brand specific dealer which is near impossible for Peugeot, try searching for a garage that can handle “Class 7” vehicles which covers up to 3500 kg. My nearest Peugeot dealer was over an hour away but I found a garage 10 mins away (in Maidenhead).

The club offer a reduced MOT charge @ National Tyre ctrs, normally in the club mag, be sure they can take the size of vehicle, had mine booked plus service to find ours was too big, best deal about if you can find the right one.
